"Personally I didn't get the reason for private and public site access. Why would my team need a public aspect to our site? Now I get it! We can allow our supporters, family and recruits into our site without exposing private info. This is feature will help me with our fund raising efforts. Now I don't have to issue guest passwords, etc. only to revoke them later. Our team will be using XLGSports.com in the coming season."

I created XLGSports.com to give our team a way of keeping scores and stats. At first I thought my team would push back on the stats. I thougt they'd say that tracking stats is just going too far. Reluctantly, I continued to record them. I knew I was on to something when a respected member of the team asked 'Hey Leonard how many times did I double fault today '. I said 'so you want to know how many times you double faulted - interesting.'

Once the stats were in our site, it allowed those who really wanted to improve their game see beyond the scores. Now I'm totally convinced that if you are serious about getting more out of the game and looking beyond the scores, which tell you nothing more than who won, you need stats too. They can tell you about the mental, tactical and other parts of your game when you look closer. I'm glad my vision is now reality. I hope you will get the most out of our site."
